With most 5.56 cans, they are either quieter at the muzzle or a bit louder with lower backpressure. With the Void 556, you’re able to make that choice and swap back and forth at will. For left-handed shooters and overgassed AR-15 owners who have dealt with excessive gas in the face, the low back pressure cap is a win. If you want to run it on a bolt gun and bump up the suppression some, you’ve got that option.
